Notice to Residents – August 2024

As part of the Channel District Improvements Project Phase C1: East Twiggs Street, a temporary traffic pattern on East Twiggs Street between North Meridian Avenue and North Nebraska Avenue will affect motorists beginning at 9:00 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2024, and continuing throughout the weekend until 4:00 a.m., Monday, August 12, 2024. During this work, at least one eastbound lane and one westbound lane will remain open on East Twiggs Street west of North Meridian Avenue. The ongoing closure of eastbound East Twiggs Street between West Meridian Avenue and North 12th Street will continue.

Notice of Construction

Starting Monday, February 7, 2022, construction of the N. 11th Street Improvements (Phase E2) will begin relating to the Channel District Improvements Project. The project includes roadway and water infrastructure improvements as well as new landscaping and irrigation. This phase of the project is expected to be complete in mid-summer of 2022.
