Construction on Phase D2 of the Channel District Improvements Project (E. Whiting Street, from N. 11th Street to Channelside Drive) is beginning in early December. Phase 1a is currently underway and will run concurrently with phase 2a, both phases are expected to continue through spring 2026.

Starting Monday, February 7, 2022, construction of the N. 11th Street Improvements (Phase E2) will begin relating to the Channel District Improvements Project. The project includes roadway and water infrastructure improvements as well as new landscaping and irrigation. This phase of the project is expected to be complete in mid-summer of 2022.
