NOTICE TO RESIDENTS & BUSINESSES


Beginning Monday, November 25, 2024, and continuing through late spring 2025, E. Twiggs Street will be closed in the westbound direction between N. 12th Street and N. Meridian Avenue, and N. Raymond Avenue will be closed at E. Twiggs Street, as Phase C1 (E. Twiggs Street) construction continues. During this time, those entering/exiting residential and business locations along the north side of E. Twiggs Street within the project area will be required to use N. 12th Street. A single lane for eastbound traffic on E. Twiggs Street will be maintained. The sidewalk on the north side of E. Twiggs Street will also be closed within the construction area, with signage in place to direct pedestrians. Travelers are asked to observe detours, traffic patterns, construction crews, and equipment when commuting in and near the construction area. (See map below for work location and travel impacts.)

Notice of Construction

Starting Monday, February 7, 2022, construction of the N. 11th Street Improvements (Phase E2) will begin relating to the Channel District Improvements Project. The project includes roadway and water infrastructure improvements as well as new landscaping and irrigation. This phase of the project is expected to be complete in mid-summer of 2022.
